1. Earn Points Every Time You Pay Rent

Rent is your biggest recurring expense—and with Rentfree, it finally pays off.

You earn base rent points on every rent payment made through the app, regardless of payment method:

• You’ll see your pending points after your rent payment is successfully sent

• Your points will clear into your account when you make at least 5 non-rent purchases, or spend a least $150 within the calendar month

• You can use PayTo or credit/debit cards to pay rent—both earn the same rewards

• PayTo is fee-free, while card payments include a pass-through fee

Tip: Check rent processing times and schedule your rent ahead of due dates to ensure smooth processing and on-time rewards.

2. Grace Period for Your First 3 Months

For the remainder of the first 3 months from your join date, members enjoy obligation free rewards on rent, even if you don’t do any other activity. After that, simply meet the minimum activity requirements to qualify. Remember, you’re not actually doing anything anything different, but being selective and savvy about how and where you spend, Rentfree unlocks unparalleled benefits for you.

3. Earn on Everyday Spend with Rentfree Merchants and Partners

Link your everyday debit or credit card to Rentfree, and you’ll earn points automatically when you shop at Rentfree partner merchants, both online and in-store.

• Points vary by merchant and offer (e.g. 3pts per $1, 5pts per $1, or bonus points)

• New merchants and offers are added regularly in the app, in your area and online

Tip: Be sure to make at least 5 monthly purchases, or spend $150 within the Rentfree network to qualify for your rent & tier based rewards—these can be anything from your morning coffee, dinner bill or anything else that you already buy PLUS you’ll earn extra rewards for those purchases in addition to your usual card rewards.

4. Multiply Rewards and get additional benefits with Tier Progression

Your base rent points can be multiplied up to 4X, and you could earn up to 6 bonus points per every dollar spent based on your tier—which is determined by how much you spend within the Rentfree network.

• Make at least 5 qualifying linked card purchases, or spend at least $150 that post in the same month to unlock your rent and tier based points for the period

• The more you spend in your membership year, the higher your tier

• Higher tiers unlock rent multipliers, and bonus points per dollar spent letting you earn up to 4,000+ rent points per month

• Tier upgrades happen automatically as your eligible spend grows

• You can track your progress easily in the app

Example: If you’re in the Gold Tier and have a 3x multiplier, your 1,000 base rent points become 3,000 total points per month, and you’ll earn an additional 4 points per every dollar you spend in the network, plus points on offer by the merchant, and your usual card rewards.
